London, Jan 20 IANS. After proving himself on the football field, David Beckham is set to become an expert chef. He is taking cookery lessons nowadays and says that he wants to learn how to make amazing pasta.
The footballer, who is currently playing for AC Milan, is taking advantage of his stay in Italy by learning how to prepare classic pasta dishes, reported hollywood.com. I've joined a culinary school and I'm on a course that entails 120 hours of lessons and cooking. It's something I've always wanted to do. I've always loved cooking. Now I'm in Italy, I want to learn how to make amazing pasta, said Beckham.
It's gone from a small ambition of wanting to learn how to make pasta to the extreme of doing this course professional chefs do. It's something I'm passionate about, he added.

Yestarday 4 tremors, the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia registered the following quakes from the same zone:

these events took place at a depth between 10 and 20 kilometers and were clearly felt by the population.

Hoffman puts on a convincing performance as he walks through the scenic hillside of the Marche region reading the poem L'Infinito (The Infinite) by 19th century local writer Giacomo Leopardi. Italians have accused the ad of being unimaginative and a waste of public money.
The Governor of Marche - a region in the east central part of Italy - said the advert was an early version and may be changed.
Gian Mario Spacca said: 'The difficulty that Hoffman finds in the recitation could symbolise the more universal one of coming closer to an unknown culture.
